Palestinian Fighter Kills Two Israeli Troops in WB Operation

A Palestinian resistance fighter has shot and killed two Israelis regime troops in the occupied West Bank.

A Zionist settler was also killed by Israeli regime troops by mistake after they thought that he was involved in the attack bringing the death toll of Israeli during the operation to 3.

The successful Thursday operation came hours after Israeli regime forces military killed two of the Gaza-based Hamas resistance movement’s members in the same region.

29-year-old Saleh Omar Barghouti and Ashraf Na’luwa were assassinated by the Israeli regime's military at dawn Thursday following a military operation targeting anti-occupation attackers.

Hamas – which governs the Israeli-besieged Gaza Strip -- on Thursday confirmed that those killed were its members.

“Resistance in the West Bank will never stop until the (Israeli) Occupation is removed from all our land and we regain all our rights,” Hamas said.

Meanwhile, In the Old City of occupied east al-Quds (Jerusalem), Israeli regime forces shot dead a Palestinian man, Majd Muteir, after he injured two Israeli police officers in an alleged stabbing attack before dawn on Thursday.

Elsewhere, Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement hailed the “heroic” operations carried out by the Palestinian resistance in the occupied al-Quds and Ramallah, penetrating all the Zionist measures and fortifications, adding that this highlights the strength and upper hand of the resistance.

In a statement, Hezbollah also praised the special performance of the Palestinian mujahidin (fighters) and their skillfulness at dealing several blows to the enemy in several positions and at the same time, which also reveals the resistance’s continuous readiness to face the Zionist aggression.

“Today’s operations honestly reflect the Palestinians’ choice of adopting resistance as the only path to liberate the occupied land, no matter how much sacrifice is made.”

Meanwhile, Israeli regime forces have besieged Ramallah in the occupied West Bank and sent in reinforcements after the killing its troops.

Israeli regime's army spokesman Jonathan Conricus said on Thursday the military was sending "a few more infantry battalions" to conduct operations in the West Bank.

"Entrances and exits to the city are all closed. We are conducting searches," media outlets quoted him as saying.

In a separate development in the West Bank on Thursday, dozens of extremist settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles near the Israeli settlement of Yizthar south of Nablus.

Local sources said one person sustained injures as Israeli settlers showered Palestinian vehicles with rocks, severely damaging at least three cars.

Around 600,000 Israelis now live in settlements considered illegal by the international community.
